"A pretty drive in the country to get to this location which is quiet and relaxing. Our host was very gracious and helpful. We do not speak Spanish and he went out of his way to give us great recommendations for the area. Our dinner was vey tasty and well worth the extra charge. So much food served in a gazebo msde for a pleasant evening. Loved the location."

"We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue. Dina"

"Amazing old building with very friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help us. Smallish but spotlessly clean bedroom and a nice breakfast. A bit out in the wilds but easily found on google maps"

"Pleasant stay in a Spanish house, we stayed on the second floor with a Velux window in the roof- we could have done with a fan as it got stuffy - we did ask but apparently not needed.... breakfast was plenty of toast and fruit and coffee and tea. Ideally situated on a side road just off the main road half way between Comillas and San Vicente de la Baroque, both beautiful villages - enjoyed evening meals at both but not until 9pm"

"A beautiful country house run by a family with just 8 rooms just 2.5 km away from Potes. A good choice for one who prefers to stay a little bit away from the city centre. We chose this place because we drive and the very good price. It turned out to be a real gem as the owner and son went out of their way to give us very good recommendations for nature walks, etc. We also took an evening walk to Potes, which was 30 minutes each way. The house also has a large garden with various fruit trees...

"beds are very uncomfortable, very short, squeaks. The whole building squeaks when someone walks and walls are very thin that you can literally hear everyone's conversations. Owner hardly can understand English. Was told breakfast was €4 for a person, gave €10 for 2 people was only given €5 back. Try other property."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."
