A big complex with various hotels but the Turquesa I am guessing is the cheapest. There were some great service, but at times we had to wait or reorder something three times. Main language is spanish with some english speakers, but not all speak english, nothing wrong with that just pointing out for people that only speak english.
The buffet was sok, but food would go cold pretty fast sadly and it was about the same thing every day with a few variety here and there sometimes.
The restaurant options were good and I highly recommend Rodrigo Restaurant as one of the option, great food and many different meats.
I would recommend to always go with the gran which is their more deluxe one (beside their luxury one)

I’m a Punta Cana frequently traveler and I stayed in many resorts. I stayed at Live Aqua because Expedia reviews and stars. Overall it’s OK but nothing impressive. It’s a clean and minimalist design boutique resort with beautiful landscaping. The staff were friendly. The things is that It had only one main pool area and two others pools for relaxing but with awful drinks. Best drinks always at Lobby Bar and Sport Bar. There’s no a lot of entertainment. No shopping court only one tiny gift shop. Nightclub area it’s like an empty black space with poor lighting and sound. The most part of music occurs outside near lobby sometimes. The food it’s OK but not great at all. There’s no a lot of variety of premium liquors at bars. I never felt a frequently Expedia traveler VIP upgrade or experience.
