They showed us a route to go for a morning run, recommended a brilliant restaurant (Aster - have the aubergine it’s declicious!) and make the breakfast all by hand with local ingredients. "Restaurant is a machine dispensing microwaveable ready meals. Lots of the electrical points were broken. No onsite presence. We had hoped for better than a cheap budget hotel chain offering."

"The hotel had friendly and polite staff. Lots of amenities available e.g tennis court, crazy golf, table tennis and bikes available if wishing to cycle within the surrounding area. There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were...

"Our stay at La Basserie was perfect, nothing could have made it better! The room was lovely and very comfortable, the views spectacular, the breakfast delicious and to top it off Olivier and Regina were so welcoming and friendly that we really felt at home.
