If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. "A quick drive from St Louis and we were happily secluded in nature. Safe and secure with hosts that make sure you have everything you need. Lake views, outdoor seating, nice fire pit, full kitchen and VERY comfy beds for all inside. Caledonia is a great little town nearby. State parks for longer hikes in all directions. Although you can stay put and walk around the lakes on site. So many options for various groups- families or friends alike. Would definitely book again."

"This treehouse was just what we needed. Even though it is compact, it has everything you could possibly need. Close to a lake where you can kayak, canoe or pedal boat. You can also ride horses, all for a nominal fee. There is also a private hot tub and fire ring. It is peaceful and serene."
