"Property was clean and modern with all the essentials. It was a 3 minute drive to the waterfront. It seemed as if the property is on or very close to main street with a coffe shop located next door. A community basketball court was also across the street. Quiet even though close to main street."

"We loved our time here for a few days this summer with the kids before the end of summer. The cabin was clean, plenty of room for 3 teens, 2 adults and 2 dogs. Anything you need for cookware, utensils, etc was there! Very well stocked! The lake was clean and we couldn’t keep the kids out of it, even on the day when the temps were a little chilly! The pontoon was great - we really enjoyed exploring the lake, swimming at the sandbar and fishing! We would rent here again, no question. "

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Finally we found a rental home that provided ample room for gathering, quiet time and enough beds— no need for making up the couch, but it would have been a comfortable option if needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and everyone could be accommodated for seating during family meals. The game room, and outdoor games and fire pit provided fun for all ages. The home is beautiful, and the setting serene. Certain courageous family members took morning dips in the lake and followed up with a sauna. We all took walks on the beach and to the mouth of the Amnicon River.Noise does carry throughout the main house. Light sleepers may want to bring along ear plugs/noise cancellation gear. Also, be aware that the final 3.5 miles of the road is gravel. "

"Really unique with an outstanding lake view. The sunset last night was simply stunning from room 1. Very nicely furnished and very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast sandwiches at the on site cafe. I suggest you supply cushions for the chairs on the balcony. My only criticism is the Murphy bed. It was very uncomfortable and I moved to the couch in the middle of the night. The Murphy beds would be fine for kids but not for guests who are 60+. The king bed was very comfortable."

"Retreat from daily living to the woods. This place has the conveniences to be comfortable-- electricity, coffee maker, frig -- but none that distract from the lake, woods, river, and the quiet."

"It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the showers. You do have a private outhouse by your cabin, but I felt like the toilet seats were rather high. But then again I’m short. Flush toilets in lodge were nice to have within a minutes walk from cabin. "
