"I just wrapped up my stay enjoying freash homemade scones and coffee while sitting on patio watching freighters go down the river. Perfect end to a perfect stay. Honestly almost didnt book this place because the price was so reasonable that I thought it was too good to be true. Well the pictures dont do it justice!!! A beautiful historic hotel that has been recently renovated. They did a great job making it clean and modern while staying true to its history. My room was immaculate clean. The common areas are beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful, really went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The "continental breakfast" included a beautiful array of fresh fruit, and delicious house made muffins and pastries. Not a complaint just a warning that currently the elevator is under construction but its only 1 flight of stairs. I really cant say enough about this Inn.. stay there!! :)"

The mattresses and the pillows were amazing…the best we have ever had at a motel such as this. The bath was sparkling. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends and family."

"I stayed here to visit with family in town so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. That being said, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. I literally did not want to get out of bed the first morning! My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough towels for a multiple night/person stay. They only clean every few days (which is fine and I could have called the office for more) but please leave enough towels initially. I didn't eat the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. I will say this place looks a little sketchy (it's behind a Rite Aid that I wasn't quite sure was open every time I drove by). But I was quite pleased with this hotel. It was very close to the expressway and stores. I would stay here again if I was in town. "

"Staff were excellent. Very nice room. Hotel very clean. Only thing wrong was the elevator was out of service. The front desk was trying to get us a room on first floor. We declined and kept original room on 2nd floor. I'd recommend a stay here. We'll be sure to stay here again. "
