"We stayed here after we got off a sailboat. Everyone was helpful from the jeep rental to no internet to no power. It was a great experience and a quick trip to town if needed. I highly recommend it if you want something out of the way and quiet!!"

"This property is exactly as advertised, and has a great view of the Caribbean waters and some of the rest of the Grenadines. The owners of the place are also very kind, attentive, and quick to respond in case of any trouble or need for help regarding anything and everything. One thing to note is that this property can feel a little far from the main areas of Bequia found around the port. So it is good to keep in mind that a taxi may be required for use when staying at this wonderful house. "

"The beautiful house is located in a very quiet corner of the idyllic island. The view from the terraces or from the rooms of the nearby sea is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped, there is even a great grill and the wing-like arrangement of the bedrooms, each with a bathroom and dressing room, makes a lot of sense. "Don't be fooled by the advert. It's not what it seemed. We visited late December, 4 adults and 2 small kids. We had great expectations; large villa, hot tub for the grandchildren to play in. "We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay at the Sugar House at the Old Fort Estate. The setting is gorgeous and the history is fascinating. The grounds were fun to explore, the pool delightful to swim in and read by, and the Sugar House, with its cooling breezes and beautiful views, lovely to come home to each day. The 2 suites were perfect for 2 couples. Quirin and Sarah were very helpful in advance and throughout our stay."

Views, Vibes and Relaxation

"Getting to the hotel was easy; the hotel arranged for a taxi from the ferry. A quick 5 minutes later we were checking in and greeted with rum punches while we waited for our room. We stayed in the main house; our room had a large terrace and the most amazing view of the bay. Breakfast was included and was delicious. The restaurant is really good; didn't have a bad meal; the pizza was amazing. The rum punch is top notch and if you're lucky you'll get to try the mango rum punch. The staff are friendly and professional. The property is a short scenic walk along the belmont walkway and conveniently located. There is a spa, a pool, beach with beautiful clear water and a relaxed vibe. We will stay here again when we come back to Bequia."

"Ich liebe diesen Ort! Genau so habe ich mir ein paar Tage Karibik vorgestellt. Einschließlich der Einschränkungen, wie z.B. zeitweise kein Wasser oder auch keine aircondition, dafür einen mega Blick auf das Meer bzw. Port Elisabet. Lunch, Dinner oder an der Bar DIREKT am Wasser ist schon sehr sehr cool! Ich empfehle das Frangipani wärmstens allen, welche nicht wert auf Schickimicki, dafür auf spirit und Natürlichkeit legen."

A wonderful relaxing stay

"Everything about this property was easy and relaxing. The host arranged for taxi pickup from the Bequia ferry, and also arranged to have some groceries at the house after our long travel day. The pool was perfect for the 3 of us, and that view from the pool!! It was easy to walk down to Princess Margaret Beach, just through the path in the yard. The daily cleaning was also wonderful. Thank you again!"
