This lovely, contemporary, pool home offers expansive views from an oversized tip lot (two intersecting canals) with 160 feet of concrete seawall, a Dock and only 1 bridge out to the Gulf of Mexico, the Myakka River and the Port Charlotte Harbor. Our Third Ray of Sun is located in the Waterfront Boating Community of SOUTH GULF COVE which offers parks, a boat ramp and marinas and is only minutes away from beautiful Southwest Florida Beaches in Boca Grande and Manasota Key . You will love this well cared for 3/2/2 pool home with it's many special features such as split floor plan, formal living and dining rooms, a kitchen with lot's of space, hardwood cabinets and Corian countertops, breakfast area and large pass through to the Lanai. The attached large Great room has a charming electric fireplace and big screened TV. The huge Lanai is at the heart of the home with big sliders leading from the Master, the formal dining, the great room and the third bedroom. The Lanai offers a large solor heated, very warm pool, breakfast bar, large area for dining and entertaining as well as views of the canal. You will feel like you are in a park in your large fenced in back yard that overlooks two intersecting canals. The master suite offers a large slider to the Lanai, a new king size bed, 2 walk in closets and bath with walk in shower and large soaking tub. The second bedroom is across the hall from the second bath and has two twin size beds, two dressers and a walk in closet. The third bedroom has a new king bed, matching dresser, large sliding door to the Lanai and a walk in closet. The home offers new, tasteful and comfortable furnishings for your vacation pleasure.

Great little getaway

Nice, clean home. Had everything you would need and very comfortable beds. Fishing was decent. Would definitely rent from them again just next time Ill be more prepared for the mosquitoes/ no-see-ums!!

We enjoyed our stay, the private pool, and the convenience of the available high chair and pack-n-play. Location is pretty remote - need to drive everywhere. Could have used more detailed directions on TV usage, location of restaurants and beaches, etc.

Had a wonderful time at this property! Absolutely beautiful house. Huge! Great lanai. Really nice view of the canal but also very private. Garage was stuffed full of things to use. Coolers, shell sifters, bikes, etc. Already planning next trip but will bring more people to fill the house. Owners were great to work with!! All thumbs up for us on this property!!

Potential Paradise

Architecture of home amazing! We understand how hurricanes can take a toll on properties though home cleanliness has nothing to do with a hurricane. Daytime living areas clean and decorated nicely. Bathrooms dirty, felt as though some sheets not changed for our stay. Dust bunnies in bedrooms, and one bedroom smelled like dog. Arm of living room chair broken, should probably be repaired before a guest is injured. Owner promptly sent manager to attend to the leaking dishwasher. Owner promptly attended to a question we had with the pool that turned out to be no concern. When owner told about cleanliness of house a verbal apology was given though issues were not addressed while we were there. Enjoyed the use of fishing poles in the garage and the BBQ! Loved seeing nature and animals in the area!

Extra accommodations for our family gathering.

I rented the property for our son and his 4 children because we did not have room for everyone to sleep at our home. We live nearby, so they had their meals at our place. They were pleased with the accommodations. Linda was quick to respond to my questions and made the process seamless. Very happy with our choice.

Perfect house, perfect location, ideal for relaxation. Markets are near, nice beach is also close. You can enjoy your time at the pool if you don't want to drive to the beach. Comunication with Linda is excellent!

Revisit Even Better Than The First

We enjoyed celebrating my husband’s birthday at this nice home. The listing accurately describes the property, we had no problems or issues. The weather was nice enough that we were able to enjoy the pool every day. We will likely book this location again if it’s available on our next trip to FL.

Relaxed November stay in South Gulf Cove

This is a comfortable, well-equipped property with a warm outdoor pool. Towels and bedding were generously supplied and various bicycles and beach items were available. Some of the fittings and equipment are dated, but generally function ok. The owners are very welcoming and were responsive to the feedback we provided on a couple of issues. It should be noted that we visited not long after Hurricanes Helene and Milton passed through and that the owners and the region as a whole were still in a clean-up/recovery phase.
