"My friend and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. It has a cute courtyard with a small pool, hammock, and plants. We felt safe there as there is a large door that is locked to the entrance to the street. The staff helped us get taxis and a shuttle from the airport. Walkable distance to the restaurants. There are bikes on property that makes it even easier to get around. "

"Great value for the area. Gustavo at the front desk is a star. Super helpful and courteous. We had two different rooms during our stay. The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. Oddly the window was not overly tinted so we had to have the drapes pulled the whole time. Breakfast service was good and the one meal we had in the evening was great. The back courtyard led directly to the beach which was a great bonus. The colour of the pool water was a little off putting and the shower lacked water pressure. Neither of these things were deal breakers. Overall a great stay. Would recommend "

"Booked a last minute trip to Leon with the family. Found this hotel and could not be happier with our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the little ones in our family. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area is walkable and safe. Would highly recommend Hotel La Posada El Doctor."

"We had a wonderful time. The house was not super fancy but it was very functional, clean, and in the perfect location for peace and quiet. We were right on the beach, which we had all to ourselves the whole time. We enjoyed lounging in the hammocks and sitting around a campfire in the evening. I especially liked that there were screens on the windows and fans so that we could sleep without AC and listen to the ocean at night. Definitely recommend to others!"
