The Last Best Lake Cabin

Newly remodeled with AC. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life while relaxing on the shores of Flathead lake in our 4 bedroom - 2 bathroom vacation rental. Our family cabin provides up to 14 travelers with the perfect home base for activities such as boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, skiing, and more. Enjoy the nightly sunset from the dock or private beach with your favorite cocktail in hand. Located across the street from the Polson Bay Golf Course and close to downtown Polson restaurants.

This family cabin features 3 bedrooms and a bunk room for the kids that comfortably sleeps 12+. Feel free to bring your inflatable mattresses to sleep even more! The living room, dining area and kitchen extends to through the main floor to the expansive lake view. A small office space is located next to the main living room and kitchen.

2 bedrooms, the bunk room, and a master style bathroom finish off the main floor. The lower walkout level features a family suite for up to 5. A private bedroom with queen sized bed and a nook with a twin over full bunk bed for the kids. Another full bathroom and laundry/mud room complete the lower level.

The 3/4 acre lot features mature trees and a green grass lawn that flows down to the lakefront. A huge deck wraps around the back of the house offering stunning views of Flathead Lake and a great place to wind down after a long day on the water. The new dock is 60 ft long with a kayak/paddle board launch and has plenty of room for multiple boats. There is no better way to spend the Summer months than at the lake!

Key Residence Features:
- Amenities include a well-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, private dock and gravel beach space with fire pit, toiletries, and fresh beach towels. The cabin even comes with your very own bald eagle that visits every morning. The cabin has a new furnace and new AC for those hot summer days.

Guests have access to the whole property including private beach, dock, front and back yards, front patio, back deck, and garage. You can access the lake from the right side of the house, through the basement, or from the upper deck.

We offer self check-in by keypad and you’ll have complete privacy during your stay.

Rules and Regulations:

This is a residential community and there are protective covenants and rules and regulations that apply (“Rules”). Your failure to abide by these Rules could result in significant penalties being imposed upon us, as the owner of the home, by the homeowners association. It is therefore necessary that we inform you of these Rules and require you to abide by them. By booking the home, you agree that you and your co-occupants and guests will abide by these Rules at all times and that your failure to abide by these Rules could result in the immediate cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

Maximum Occupancy. The home may not be occupied by more than 20 adults at any time.
No Parties. There are no parties or events allowed at any time unless previously agreed upon before booking.

Quiet Hours. Loud noise (e.g., loud music, gatherings on the dock, deck, yard or other exterior areas) is prohibited between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.

No pets are allowed on the property unless negotiated before booking. There will be a $200 fine if pets are present without approval.

No Smoking. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property, inside or outside, and this includes the deck, dock or beach. If there is a need to smoke, this must be done outside the property boundaries. If we find that there has been smoking on the premises, we will withhold your security deposit.
Parking. Please park either in the driveway, garage, or grass parking area next to the garage. Please no parking on the street.

General nuisances. No person may engage in any noxious, offensive or illegal activity at the property, and no person may do anything that might become an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to any homeowner.

First, let me start off by saying that when I presented my complaints (that I will be documenting below) to the owner, he immediately accused me of seeking a refund and a "cheaper vacation". He was completely and unnecessarily rude about the whole thing and ended up concluding that, outside of me seeking an unwarranted refund, that everything I was bringing to his attention was a "minor inconvenience". Here are the issues we had while staying at his property. I wish VRBO would allow pictures to be posted. -The dock is beautiful. It was a bright spot for the property. -All of the chairs/furniture at the beach area by the dock were broken. There was one functional plastic chair, unlike the pictures in the listing. The owner insisted this was a "minor inconvenience". -The firepit at the beach area is rusted thru on the bottom such that all of the coals fall on the ground. -All of the cushions for the furniture pictured on the back patio were missing. The owner insisted this was a "minor inconvenience". -All of the patio in about a 10 foot vicinity outside of the patio door was covered in sap. It wasn't just one area and this, when combined with the missing cushions above, made the back patio mostly unusable. The owner's comment to this was "You didn't try to wipe the sap up?" -I have several more issues but VRBO is limiting my word count.
