"Handy location to the beach with lovely views. Great to have two bathrooms - and the shower pressure is fantastic, good kitchen and comfortable lounge area. The host was generally very responsive. Unfortunately there was a terrible musty smell that we could not get rid of - and a few maintenance issues that needed to be looked at - eg outside light not working, problems with the dishwasher (which my husband fixed) and a couple of other things which we also fixed. "Lovley long weekend escape during the school holidays. This is a lovely place that would be great in summer etc with a nice deck and outdoor areas. We were there in July school holidays and it rained most of the time however house was nice and warm (including heaters for kids rooms) and a handy but quiet location. Would recommend."

"Had the most amazing holiday here. 3 families, 10 kids in total and each family had our own section of the house and own bathroom. And there was space for a 4th family. Beautiful home, well stocked with laundry and dishwasher stuff and toilet paper, glad wrap etc which is always so handy with big groups. Fire places were brilliant, location was perfect. We just loved every minute. Host was really responsive too and even got a portacot for us to use. You won't be disappointed with this...

"This house is located north of downtown Auckland, and has a nice view of the ocean! It is close to wineries and a sculpture garden. The house was clean with comfortable beds, and a full kitchen. Recommend this listing if you want to stay close to Auckland but want some distance from the city."
