"The staff were very accommodating to our American family. They worked with our needs for an early breakfast start time due to a soccer tournament for our son. The manager spoke English very well and was patient with my broken French. The rooms were clean and bright. The location is nice for walking Pontivy and accessing the part of the city across the water. We will stay again if we are fortunate enough to revisit Pontivy. "

"The listing did not make it clear that the property is a residence and the owner is living there, we thought we were renting a tiny cottage but in fact it was just a room and use of shared facilities. However it was pleasant and the owner was very friendly and overall a good stay."

"We were looking for a place to stay as a base for cycling, walking and kayaking. We certainly found it in this lovely well equipped cottage. The cottage is compact but has a good kitchen and comfortable lounging area. The shower and bathroom was suitable for us. The little terrace area was lovely for evenings sipping wine or having breakfast on. The small garden led straight on to the Nantes to Brest canal path which forms part of the Velo 6 route. We were also able to launch the kayak from the small pontoons near us. The cycle routes took you through lovely countryside and the roads were fairly quiet when we did go on them. The village has a good shop, and various restaurants. There was a lovely little market on the Friday. Everyone was very friendly. The owners communicated with us prior to our stay and left helpful instructions on how to use wifi,tv etc. We would definitely go again."
