"This cottage is right on the edge of a beautiful lake and is easily accessible to Damariscotta. We visited in mid-October when there was little activity on the lake and it was very quiet. The state and comfort of the house was a mix. Bathrooms and the bedrooms were clean. There were plenty of bath towels/face cloths etc. The upstairs bed was very comfortable and one has a sense of being perched right over the lake from this charming room. "

"Our vacation in Maine has come to an end. It was a great stay at Peaceful Day Dreamer. We did have a couple of issues that were taken care of by Vacasa in a timely manner. We will definitely be back next year to enjoy reading on the porch, listening to the loons at night and of course eating all the lobster that we could. This rental is a great place to unwind and enjoy some family time with our loved ones."

"It's fine as long as you go into it with the understanding that it's an old farm house that has been marginally mantained a not updated. A corner of the property has a water view which is pretty. After hours communication with the management company was slow. We stayed because it was one of the last available properties on a holiday weekend but would not go back."
