"Very unique tiny home. The ambience of the boardwalk was quiet and lovely to be by the water. The restaurant choice are limited. Instructions were good. Though they asked us to undo the linen before leaving and for the price we paid, we should not have to do that. The sheets were not good quality. But the rest was excellent and clean. Parking is a little inconvenient, nothing can be done about that... but perhaps a cart? "

"Although the weather was unseasonably hot and it was not possible to keep the bedrooms cool enough for quality sleep, the house was excellent, comfortable, and well equipped, and the setting near the water was great."

"Location was great for us as we were visiting family nearby. The unit was very clean and roomy. The amenities were more than adequate. Meeting our host was very enjoyable and she was a true example of the friendly people of the Cheticamp region. "

"The house looked amazing, super clean, and the hosts have every little detail thought of. Right down to a full pitcher of filtered water in the fridge! The beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent location too, I hope I have the opportunity to stay there again. Definitely recommend!"

"We booked Hectors property for a family getaway before back to school. The view from the property is stunning, and the space was big enough for all 7 of us. Meat Cove is a quiet and serene place. Hector was an amazing host-extremely responsive and beyond kind and accommodating. We hope to be back! "

"The Mactoimin Cottage was perfect for us. We were out early every morning for hikes and back late in the day. A couple days we were back early for coffee on the porch and soaks in the hot tub. Heavenly. The best part perhaps was that we were three minutes from the sunsets on the beach! Stunning. We did not do any cooking, other than coffee. I was a wee bit surprised how close to the road we were, but there were barely any cars that went by. The owners were so kind, even when I called one night...
