"Outside of the smoking on the main floor of the casino, this place was great and so much fun. It has big hotel rooms, great food, and great staff. They have a large area designed for kids, which has tons of games. While in this area watching your kiddos, there is a great bar and food for everyone."

"What a neat little gem just steps away from downtown Placerville and still surrounded by nature! We even saw a whole deer family on the front lawn. Historic charm meets all the amenities you can ask for. We were in the Inverness room with our two pups and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was super attentive and responsive. The only thing people have to be aware of is that the bed is super soft. If you like that, this is the room for you, if not, you may want to try one of the other rooms. "

"Chuck and Kelli were great hosts. I needed an iron, and Kelli provided it right away. We had everything we needed...coffee maker, refrigerator, comfy bed, charging stations, guide on what to eat and where to visit. Sweetie Pies was a great recommendation for breakfast on Main St. We went there twice! The property is filled with fruit trees, chickens, two kitties, and a lovely patio. If we go back to Placerville, we'll definitely stay here."
