"We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and the staff was very responsive and truly cared about doing their best for us to enjoy the stay. We stayed in the top bedroom which was very lovely - we recommend you try it if available. Great breakfast and also the lunch sandwiches were fantastic. We will be back."

"Staying at this beautiful inn was one of the nicest experience we've had in France. The inn is gorgeous, beautifully kept, comfortable, and within walking distance to everything in the village. Our hosts prepared an incredibly delicious breakfast both mornings. Lovely, lovely couple. We would definitely recommend staying here while visiting the Sancerre region."

"We had such a lovely stay at L'Echappee Belle. The rooms are comfy, spacious and clean and the house and grounds are beautiful, with lots of fruit and veg growing throughout the grounds which our hostess Sophie uses for her excellent guest dinners and breakfasts. "Bruno and Marie-Ann are the most convivial hosts. Their home is beautiful and the bedroom and en suite very well appointed and extremely comfortable. The house is steeped in history and is a calm and quiet haven, having been thoroughly restored. Enjoy a delicious, optional, three course dinner. "
