"Our stay at the Arenal Hot Springs in La Fortuna was absolutely amazing. Every morning we woke up to breathtaking views of the volcano right outside our window—it felt surreal. The private hot tub in the room was exactly what we needed for relaxation, and having access to the hot springs on-site was so convenient after long days of exploring. The restaurant was wonderful—the food was fresh, flavorful, and served in a beautiful setting. We also loved how close the property was to all the adventure activities. Zip-lining, excursions, and nature tours were just minutes away, and the town of La Fortuna with its great restaurants and shopping was only a 15-minute drive. Between the views, the comfort, and the unbeatable location, this place exceeded all expectations. I definitely plan to return—it’s a true gem in Costa Rica. 🌴💦"

And we can’t say enough about the wonderful delicious healthy breakfasts that Lisa and Mar made every day. Each day Patrick helped with our plans , sometimes arranging in advance. He also had terrific recommendations for dinner, we all loved the evening at Gingerbread Restaurant, a superb dining experience.Can not say enough good things , thank you Patrick!"

"Had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Arsenal Lodge. I couldn’t get enough of all the pretty flowers all over the property and the room with the breathtaking views of the volcano! We were a family of 5 and the room was spacious and comfortable. The property is family run and felt very welcoming from the moment I checked in. The owner was so kind to make a beautiful bouquet for my mom’s 70th birthday and arrival to the hotel. I really wanted a bouquet with local flowers and couldn’t really it online. I was so ecstatic when I saw the bouquet with tropical flowers. I’m still touched by this, thank you Mrs Terry. The property is a gem for nature lovers. 100% recommend. "

"It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!"

"This is the best place to stay in the area if you want to be in a serene lake area and close to fortuna. Otherwise stay in fortuna. This property is quaint quality and with amazing hospitality. I hope to return again soon. "
