"We checked in on a Sunday afternoon, there was a note saying where to find a phone to call reception. This was answered straight away. The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. "Everything about the stay was great: Personal, friendly service from the owner, a comfortable and quiet room, and an extensive breakfast buffet. There are also a couple of outdoor seating areas facing the river and plenty of beer and wine available for purchase from the mini-bar. Glad I found this hidden gem. "

"Gorgeous hotel, the design is cohesive throughout, lovely art, comfortable and beautiful at the same time. So many thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Well located, staff is super friendly and professional at the same time. The spa is wonderful, drinks in the lobby bar perfection. Towels were huge and soft. Robes super soft and comfy. Ok the only thing I can fault is the pillow cases were not soft..oddly scratchy but that’s really sounding spoiled now isn’t it?"

"Charming inn right in the center of a fine village. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean and functional. Church bells ring fairly often. WiFi not always stable. "
