"All staff from security, reception, restaurant & cleaning were so welcoming & friendly. All staff spoke good english. Hotel was excellent with free boat ride & afternoon tea. Rooms were clean & modern. Eating in the restaurant is pricey."

"Initially we booked a standard AC room but upgraded to a deluxe AC room on the 2nd floor which has been constructed newly. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places."

"Great place, quiet, secluded beach, close enough to shops and restaurants at Varkala Beach- 100-200 rupees in a tuk tuk. Hotel staff go out of their way to help you, they arranged our transport wherever we wanted to go and prices were fantastic"
