"Our whole family of 4 was traveling from SK to Victoria, and had food poisong from a chinese food restaurant. The host were jice enough to drive to 2 different shops to get medicines/etc for us. Much appreciated. Nice house with good backyard to enjoy."

"A wonderful retreat nestled in forested neighbourhood with walking trails. Had to drive to amenities, but not far to Sidney or airport. Hosts were super, suite was well stocked with everything you needed. Special treat were the presence of two wonderful Golden Retrievers, two miniature ponies, and Topaz, the friendly horse. Had a great time (2 nights) and would absolutely stay again."

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. "Amazing property nestled in nature. Lots of room for the family and to kick back and relax and enjoy the beautiful natural setting. Only 15mins from the ferry or from Downtown Victoria though. Only regret is that we didn’t book for longer but will definitely be coming back again."

"Stayed one night - apartment is in a quiet residential area. Comfortable and clean. Always appreciate a pet friendly rental - dog bed and bowls provided. It was an easy drive from downtown area. We enjoyed the trails around the nearby Elk Lake and also had a great time wandering around the Butchart Gardens (dog friendly!) Deandra was very responsive to messages - instructions to get in etc were very clear."
