"Wonderful property, loved the historic parts and the renovations. The rooms in the newer wings are very modern. The gardens and pool area are very relaxing. Restaurants are good quality and the included breakfast buffet is really above and beyond. The staff was very responsive to service requests as well. All in all a great experience!!!"

"Beautiful historic hotel . Rooms could do with electric outlets next to the beds and bathrooms could be updated. The service is bit too formal- when we requested a dinner reservation we could not get the time we wanted and when we arrived a half hour after our requested time there were only two tables taken- it was empty. "Hotel is very new (Oct 2024) so in excellent condition. Extremely comfortable bed. Great value with onsite restaurant and pool (small fee to use). Easy walk thru the old city walls. Leisurely 20 minute walk to the Basilica which is fantastic because you walk up the tower and across the roof to get panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. "

"Amazing place great room, two swimming pools good restaurant,if slightly limited menu but friendly staff Ideal for a trip to Evora which is about 15 miles away with good parking just outside town.also not far from a megalithica worth a vist but it is a long hike up the hill to see it."
