"Best hostel I've ever stay. The facilites are very modern, clean and well maintained. The rooms have good space, lockers, natural light and decent beds. The location is great, there are plenty of stores, supermarket, restaurants, and the train station and historic city centre are within a walking distance. Valerio is a great super host, makes you feel like home"
"Excellent hotel. Very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice free continental breakfast in the morning in a very pleasant breakfast room. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel,and the next time I'm in Genoa, this is were I will be staying again."
"I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. "The hotel was in a great location, room was a great size and very comfortable. Staff was outstanding. "
"We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight.
The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and hot plate, which was awesome for cooking ourselves a light breakfast and/or making tea.
3 beaches are walking distance from the hotel: Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Sturla, so the location was perfect for us. "
"This place is such a treasure in a time capsule. We appreciate the care for detailed quality napresso coffee, water, high pressured water, air conditioning, and a perfect access to fun eateries, bars and some shopping. Highly recommended
