PRIVATE BEACH RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR!

Often described as one of the most peaceful places on earth, La Coquinita is a 434 square foot studio that sits steps away from the Atlantic Ocean and offers breathtaking views, relaxing walks, and the most inspiring sunrises your eyes will ever see.

Wake up each morning, grab a cup of coffee (or a mimosa!) and follow a meandering path down to enjoy 100 feet of private beach where you can cleanse your soul, revitalize your mind, and get back on track to an invigorated life.

Panoramic views of the ocean abound from the two oversized windows in the main area of this unique space which includes a California King sized bed and an optional inflatable mattress for our smaller guests. Coffee table, chest of drawers and an extendable folding dining/workspace table which can comfortably sit (4) people, inside the space or outside on the private deck. The compact but well equipped kitchen offers a (4) burner stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator and all the kitchen items you need to prepare your meals. The bathroom boasts a full sized shower with a window offering a view to the ocean, sink, toilet and high end bathroom toiletries.

Everything you need to experience true ocean front living is provided during your stay: high end linens, towels, pillows and bed coverings, basic toiletries, kitchen items and cooking appliances, Keurig coffee maker, new 40" Smart TV and Wi-Fi. In addition and right outside your door you will find a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas and recreational toys.

To enhance your stay, the owners have curated a photo collection by local artists that adds warmth and welcome to an incredible place. This studio is best enjoyed by a family of 2, with an inflatable bed available for our smaller guests.

St. Augustine is located 28 miles to the North while Daytona Beach is 33 miles to the South, both a picturesque drive along A1A. If you desire a closer dining or shopping experience, La Coquinita is only 6 miles from Main Street Flagler Beach, a quaint town center with plenty of restaurants, bars, a farmer's markets and a dramatic pier that jets out to the Atlantic Ocean.

On site parking is available. Extended stays will be discounted at the owner's discretion.

(Please note: there is a main house located on the same property. However, the entrance to LA COQUINITA is private and not connected to the larger property.)

At first I was shocked that the place was a studio style apartment. It is pretty small. If you don’t like that type of set up this won’t be for you. The property owners were absolutely amazing. Once we got acclimated and used to the place it was perfect. There was plenty of dresser storage. The closet was pretty tiny but we made it work. The only real complaint I had was the bathroom fan did not work. That is essential in a place that small with one restroom. The owner was made aware as soon as we got there. It was a holiday week so I’m not sure they could get it fixed prior to our departure. The beach was pretty private. We saw sea turtle tracks, dolphins, and the birds were awesome. It’s pretty close to a lot of cute shops and only a 30 minute drive from Dayton. We took a day trip to the Kennedy space center (very pricey, not worth the money in our opinion, but others may not share our view). It was only 1.5 hours away. We thought about universal studios, also 1.5 hours away but decided not to. The beach was totally worth it. Most beaches we go to are packed with people on top of each other, but not here. The property owners are very communicative. I would stay here again and recommend others to as well.

Everything was awesome, the only issues were minor (front door is hard to open and close because it sticks as well as the gate, would be nice to have a overhang to sit under during rainy weather. The location can not be beat. The unit had a cali king bed, full kitchen, good size shower, refrigerator, microwave and stove. We were lucky enough to see a massive sea turtle during the night at the bottom of the stairs. It’s nice and secluded. During our 3 night stay we saw 4 others on the beach over our weekend stay. Water temp and sand were perfect. Communication and check in were flawless. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Shell Heaven….magical beach stay!
The apartment was described and pictured perfectly. It had everything we needed and more than we expected as a family of 3. The manager was easy to contact and answered any question we had. The early check in at noon was amazing. The location was perfectly located to everything/every place we would imagine wanting or needing. Lots of shopping and restaurants are nearby. We enjoyed a short drive to visit Washington Oaks Garden State Park, Matanzas beach, and Marineland Dolphin Adventures. Staying on the beach was amazing. We enjoyed walking on the beach and viewing 1000s of shells, lightning over the ocean, rainbows, and peace and quiet. The sunrises were peaceful and beautiful. It was a quiet and calm neighborhood. For the price of less than a “normal ocean view/beach front hotel room” it was an amazing deal and stay. We left the magic of Disney and continued to have a magical vacation on the beach right at La Conquinita. My 9 year old said the beach was shell heaven. We had never been on a beach with so many shells and there were shells in the house, on the house, and around the property. Such a beautiful place!
