"Everything was absolutely lovely - the house was spacious, clean, and ideal. The only minor issue (which was somewhat rough coming in from the Americas) was that there was a dog barking and other animals making noise loudly into the night, but there are no fans or A/C, so the windows had to be open. There are no window screens and there were mosquitoes biting us and buzzing our ears... so it was a bit hard to sleep (especially with jet lag). Each staff member we met was so kind and helpful. The location is also fantastic. I could not recommend the Hernan Cortes Hotel more highly."

"This is a nice hotel in the heart of town, close to a large, beautiful park and many options for dining and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. One nit: our room had a step leading to the bathroom, and the bathtub was very slippery when showering, despite having a few grooves built into the porcelain. "
