•Amenity Center•
Q: What amenities does Solara have? Solara Resort has a pool, kids splash pad, FlowRider, playground, walking trail, gym, yoga lawn, multipurpose room, business center, restaurant, and tiki bar.
Q: What side of the resort has the amenities? Solara Resort phase one, (the side with the guard house) has all the amenities.
Q: Who can use the amenity center? All guests that have a home reserved in Solara and are currently staying in Solara, can use the amenities. No additional pass or wristband is needed.
Q: At what time does the amenity center open? The amenity center opens at 8am and closes at 9pm. The restaurant and tiki bar open at 11am.+
Q: Do you have balls to use at the sports fields? Yes, we have basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, and basketballs to check out. All equipment checkouts require an ID.
Q: Is the main pool, splash pad and FlowRider heated? The main pool and FlowRider are heated. However, the splash pad is not heated.
Q: Is there an additional charge to use the amenities? There is an additional charge for the FlowRider. Reservations are recommended and can be done at the Solara Surf Club page on FB.
•Trash•
Q: When is the trash picked up? The trash is picked up every day.
Q: At what time is the trash picked up? Due to many different factors there is no set time for the trash valet to pass by each home. It may be in the morning or in the afternoon.
Q: Where can I leave my trash to be picked up? Please leave all your trash on the porch of the home in and around the brown bin. Trash cannot be placed on the street, grass, or sidewalk.
Q: Can I throw anything away? We ask that no bulk trash is left out as our team is not equipped to pick that up.
Q: Where can I throw away my bulk trash? Bulk trash such as large boxes, wrapping paper, chairs, tables, etc. can be dumped at the open top trash container located at the amenity center.
Q: Will the trash valet pick up any size trash bag? The trash must be a regular size kitchen trash bag and cannot be over full to avoid it breaking. Any bags that are too heavy will not be picked up by the valet staff and would need to be taken to the amenity center trash compactor.
•Checking into the Resort•
Q: How do I get into the Resort? Please come up to the main guard gate located at Westside Boulevard and Sunset Palms. Use the left lane to register with the guard and enter the resort.
Q: What do I need to show the guard? To check into the resort and be registered in the system for your stay, you will need to show your driver’s license or passport and the confirmation email for your stay.
Q: Is there a gate code I can use? We don’t utilize gate codes, since everyone is registered by the guard at the main gate.

Q: Will I need to stop and talk to the guard every time I come back to the resort during my stay? No, once you are registered one time, you can come and go as you please during the length of your stay by using the right side of the main gate entry.
Q: What if I am staying on the other side of the resort that doesn’t have the guard house? How do I gain entry to the resort? Which ever side you are staying at, you would still need to pass by the guard house to be registered upon your arrival. Once you are registered you will be able to access both sides of the resort.
Q: How do my guests come into the resort? All visitors of REGISTERED guests must be pre-registered in our system. Example: Mary comes to see Tom who is a registered guest at Solara and is staying for a week. Tom will need to call the guard house and let the security guard know that Mary is coming to see him for the day, (as long as we don’t exceed 6 cars per home, this is fine). The security guard will look in the gate system and search for Tom. If Tom IS in the system, he can register Mary and input her full name, and plate number under the correct address. If Tom IS NOT in the system, Tom needs to come to the guard house and show his check in and check out confirmation email before Mary can gain entry into the community. Guests will not be allowed in unless the guard house has been informed of their arrival.
•Parking•
Q: Where can I park my car? All the single-family homes have a driveway where one car can park. Some homes also have a garage. The townhomes have ample parking spaces in front of the homes. No street, or grass parking is allowed. Any cars violating the Solara rules will be towed.
Q: How many cars can I bring into the community? At this time only 6 vehicles per home can come into the community per day. Please note that only one car will be able to park in front of the home on the driveway, the other cars would need to be parked in a guest parking lot.

Q: How do I get into my vacation home?
Please follow the instructions we will sent you before check in.
Q: What if my pool, heater, A/C, refrigerator etc. is not working properly? Please contact us as soon as possible so we can repair anything as soon as possible
Q: What if there is loud music or another issue is disturbing the peace? Please contact the Solara Security team. Let the security guard know where the music is coming from so they can respond and ask the music be lowered. However, if the situation persists, please keep in mind there is nothing further the guard can do in that moment and you will need to contact the police.
