"We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. "We actually stopped next door in the Foxglove hut . It was lovely and cosy and clean. There were plenty of logs for the log burner. The kitchen is next door to the hut and was adequate to cook a meal. We did try the organic veg and meat and they were very good. I would highly recommend taking food essentials as the nearest shop is about a 30min drive away and be aware that the last couple of miles of roads are not that well maintained .... all added to the remoteness of the place and the feel...

"Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean. We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday. The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too. We felt very secluded and private."
