"The State Hotel is in such a handy location in the middle of town. Off street parking is a must in the CBD and Joe's Garage underneath for a great breakfast. It has been restored beautifully with a modern touch on old world luxury. Luke was a great host both greeting on arrival and farewelling on departure. I would definitely stay again."

"Room was nice and tidy, could do with a fan/air circulation in the bathroom. My boys enjoyed their swim while there. TV in the room should have been more in the middle maybe attached to the wall on a bracket. Not much to watch on TV due to not many channels to access. But overall very nice, comfortable and friendly staff."
