"We had a great time! Close to the beaches and pontoon rental. We were here on July 4th. We were able to see the fireworks from all directions on the dock. It was hot upstairs, but the the portable air conditioner and multiple fans it was doable. We loved seeing the original pictures and structure of the place and reading about its history. We will visit again!"

"The home is spacious--with enough bedrooms to sleep 21 of us. We had a couple of rainy days, but the shuffle puck & foosball table , along with many big screen tvs kept everyone entertained. It is a beautiful home & the grounds are landscaped. We had a nest of owls to watch. No sandy beach, but the kids did swim & play in water off the dock. For a big group, the kitchen could use some things..had only one 9X13 pan, blenders didn't have working tops, & needs a regular manual can opener. But this home is awesome."

"The property was very clean inside and out, with tasteful decor and a fun, welcoming vibe. It was perfect for our family; private, a bit wooded, and had room for yard games for a few little kids. The host provided plenty of towels, toiletries, a grill, and a well-stocked kitchen, which made cooking easy. One of our favorite spots was the back patio, it was super clean and had mosquito netting, making it perfect for relaxing with a book or watching a movie by the small fire.The host was excellent! Very responsive to all our questions and provided clear instructions, local recommendations, and info about things to do in the area. The listing was a bit confusing. It mentioned a playground, but it was small and not what we expected. The pickleball/tennis court was locked, and we weren’t sure how to access it. We also expected more of a park. Overall, a great and comfortable stay for families just a few small clarifications needed in the listing."
