"I stayed 5 nights for snowboarding. The host can drive you to Gondola, and you can just ski-in at the end of the day. What impressed me most is their hospitality, if you have any problem, just ask and they will help you. 10 out of 10 for great service!"

"Feels like home away home "

"This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "

"Wow, what an absolute gem of a lodge to stay at. Super cool setting nestled in the forest just under Iwatake skifield. Genuine original Japanese ski lodge for a neat authentic experience. "

"The owners are very friendly and will help with any issue you have. This is not a hotel but very much like a traditional ryokan in that you sleep on a futon on the floor. Don't expect it to be a hotel as in Japanese ways it is not. What you do get is very friendly hosts, that will try and accommodate you to their best. We had a great stay and made new friends in the process. We would certainly consider staying here again in the future."

"Friendly hospitable staff that spoke good English. Rooms were a decent size and quality, little steep on price but put that down for the peak of winter. Breakfast was included but a bit basic (set meal of mostly eggs and bacon/sausage, had basic cereal available too). Coffee was decent by Aus standards and was quite close to the pub for dinner/afternoon drinks after shredding on the mountain. Will try to aim for a place near Happo or Echoland next time as it was a bit painful to get to and from...
