A highlight in the area is the Bork Vikingehavn open-air museum, where you can immerse yourself in the world of the Vikings with authentically reconstructed houses and ships. Nature lovers and birdwatchers should not miss the Tipperne, the Nymindegab dune plantation and Skjern Enge.



Ringkøbing Fjord is one of the best water sports areas in Northern Europe. Glide across the water with the wind or take a guided boat tour on the fjord. Visit charming Hvide Sande and enjoy the fresh breeze on the North Sea coast. Horse lovers can visit the Nymindegab Riding Centre.
