Moments from natural crystal clear watering holes- your choice of serene or exhilarating- to organized adventures of hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking, Sunday River is the place to be for autumn outdoor adventures. Need to rest? Just stay at your home away from home to star gaze at the universe, watch fireworks on the mountain or enjoy your favorite family movie with our five screen TVs. Find your inner kid again in our very own rustic treehouse. (No children under 11 without direct adult supervision). Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on your screened-in porch with cozy gas fireplace. With three lounging areas and a large kitchen, the Bungalow is a perfect place to gather and a great place to relax and chill, while enjoying all of the beauty and activities of Western Maine. Two bedrooms upstairs with one bath, (sleeping five) and two bedrooms, two baths downstairs (sleeping seven), create cozy accommodations for large groups of friends and extended family up to 12 persons, while also being completely comfortable for smaller parties from 1-7 persons. Nestled in a quiet, pine tree neighborhood just off of Skiway Rd, a lovely walkable enclave, the Bungalow's location may be her best feature - but it's definitely hard to choose!

Great house, amazing location!

This house is adorable, clean and super convenient to some awesome restaurants / apres ski / the slopes. It’s literally 2 mins from Sunday River lifts. My family was very comfortable here, and we loved the little personal touches that made the house feel like a home. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding Rental

This house was exactly as described and pictured and then some. The house is spacious and sparkling clean. So many upscale amenities and nice touches. The hot tub is a definite bonus! We will definitely be back and recommending it to others.

Wedding weekend

We had a family wedding this weekend and we were 8 minutes from the venue. This rental worked well for two young families. The downstairs is almost a separate unit and worked well for my son’s family with 2 small kids. The two bedroom’s upstairs were comfortable and suited grandparents and another couple. Kitchen was well appointed except for the cabinet with garbage bins. The door needs repair. Everything was very clean. Plush linens in the bathrooms. We were greeted with wine, cheese crackers and cookies. The manager was very responsive to my questions.

Fantastic location, new furnishings, great amenities

The Mountain Bungalow was the perfect gathering spot for our small crew to ski Sunday River. The house is moments from the mountain in a nice neighborhood right off the access road. The house was sparkling clean with new furnishings that were very comfortable, from crazy soft sheets to fluffy, thick bath towels to great dining room seating. The host has thought of ALL kinds of amenities to make your stay more comfortable and effortless - really nice touches (like USB ports at the bedside) that so many other properties neglect. The kitchen was very well appointed, we lacked nothing during our stay. The house layout is a little odd (2 bedrooms up, 2 down) but it actually worked really well for our group, as the "big kids" could have the downstairs bedrooms and living space to themselves without being on top of the adults who wanted a quieter evening. Highly recommend and hope to be back!
