"IBIS was simply amazing!!! The other 6 family members all booked cheaper B&B's around Edinburgh but the South Bridge IBIS was central to everything we wanted to see. "Great Stay! Loved the free Luggage Storage for our early arrival. Fun and Funky Lobby, Full Bar, and nice sitting areas. Did not have the breakfast but it looked fabulous and definitely worth the extra $ Room is small and cozy. Perfect for what we needed. Our room was a standard room and looked directly at the wall of the next building, that was fine for us. We only stayed to sleep and change etc. not for the view. EXCELLENT Location to Waverly train Station, Royal Mile Shops/Sights and All of the tourist sights in Old Town! Easy walk to trains, Buses etc too. Room was having some air con issues and the hotel fixed it within an hour. We were able to open the window too. There was some late night city noise from the bar hoppers on Saturday Night with our window open. We didn't mind hearing people having fun and enjoying their holiday. If you are a light sleeper maybe that would bother you. We would 100% recommend and stay again. Also, A good Tip: use the Blue AirLink 100 Bus to/from the Airport vs. a Taxi. You can pay directly on the Bus with a Credit Card and its MUCH Cheaper and drops you closer to the hotel than our taxi did! Taxi was about $50 and Bus was $11 for 2 People."
