Bumpy Start but Nice Stay-great location

When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned and I reached out to the property management and they offered a different room for the evening in which we declined as we had already carried our stuff up stairs and opted to just take the clean bedding and linen from that unit instead. After that there were no issues. Cute property in a quite area which was great for being able to get some rest, but close enough to catch a Lyft to Bourbon Street. The property did reach out and offer an upgrade which we declined as it was not necessary as I had literally booked the property the evening prior and were content with the stay.

Great space in need of refurnishing

Very spacious with lots of natural light--too much in the morning, in the back bedroom, that you can't block off, and the front bedroom is right on Rampart Street, so very noisy. The floors didn't seemed to have been mopped in years...I wiped up a bit of sloshed water and the paper towel came up black! The furniture is super cheap and *incredibly uncomfortable*! I almost couldn't sit on the couch at all--just under the fabric are a bunch of metal squares; it feels more like sitting on a metal bench than a sofa. When it rained, the ceiling leaked beside the couch. It's a terrific space--but it needs seriously updated furniture and roof repair!
