Private Lake House/A Fisherman's Paradise only 30 minutes to New Orleans

Located between the Mississippi Gulf Coast Casino's and the Famous French Quarter on Lake St. Catherine. This property has it all. Enjoy the excitement of gambling or the fun of Bourbon St. Then just 30 minutes to your own piece of Paradise.
You get the sunrise in the morning, sunset in the evening and a sea of stars all night long while enjoying the deck or on the rear fishing pier over the lake. Did I mention the breeze?? This beautifully appointed house has everything you will need. It is an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Take advantage of the abundance of fishing and crabbing the lakes have to offer. Or take a kayak ride. Bring your boat and launch 4 doors down at Island Marina and then tie up to our private dock.
Our house is equipped with an outdoor grill, propane, burners, pots and pans. Just bring the fish fry and oil. I will even leave you my favorite crab boil seasoning to try while you are here. Fishing polls, crab traps and nets are on the property for your enjoyment.
If you don't feel like cooking your days catch, save it and you are just a short drive to downtown New Orleans or Olde Town Slidell. Both offer an array of choices to tickle your tastebuds.
There are local fishing guides to take you out for a day of fun and fishing if you do not have your own boat.
Owning this house has been a lifelong dream of mine and I can't wait to share my little piece of heaven on earth with you.

Nice Lake House
This lake house was perfect for our family w three adults, a teen and 3 younger kids. We booked a fishing trip with a nearby marina. The house has everything you would normally need during your stay. The owner replied to my questions right away. We were very satisfied and did not want to leave.

Best Waterfront Location in Lake Catherine
Excellent 3 bed/2 bath property with giant living room and back patio directly on Lake Catherine/Gulf of Mexico. You can look at Lake Ponchatrain from the front patio, and the Gulf from the back. The property is very well furnished, even with a half dozen or so fishing poles (and a live bait shop 2 doors down on Chef Menteur). The huge back patio is a big win for enjoying the waterfront views, while the large dock in the back of the property offers a fishing spot that can't be beat.

Sweet fishing vacay
We had a fantastic time! Such a great location for fishing. It was so much fun to watch the men in our family behave like little boys filled with excitement to fish! Patty and her husband were very hospitable, helpful, and accommodating. We felt very welcome. We hope to return soon.

Best vacation ever!
This was the best vacation me and my family have ever had. The house was amazing with the porch and the views. The porch is also enclosed so if you have a dog like we did you won't have to worry about them getting away. The host Patty was great and easy to talk to. They have everything at the house that you could possibly need, except food of course. She is a very thoughtful host. We loved going to the French Quarter to walk down Bourbon Street but getting to go back to the house where it was private and quiet was the perfect end to each day. I definitely plan on going back to New Orleans and hope that I'm able to stay at Patty's place again.
