"Great place to stay for exploring the eastern portion of Cape Breton National Park. Kim (part owner) is a great host snd made us feel very welcomed. We stayed in room #6 which is upstairs (no elevator on premise) and faces the back (not ocean view). The room is pretty standard. Decor is outdated but very clean. The included buffet breakfast has a variety of breads, yogurts, cold cuts and hot dishes like sausages and scrambled eggs. Overall we had a great experience at Castle Rock Country Inn."

"Maude’s place is a lovely home, the beach and the harbour were an added bonus. We loved our stay, it was a perfect place to unwind after a day filled with hiking, sightseeing and of course eating. "

"We stayed for 2 nights and it was great. It was spacious and comfortable. The washrooms were clean and the showers were actually really nice. The staff were awesome and super helpful whenever we needed anything. The area is also beautiful, we did a few hikes and the cafes are soo yummy!"

"Absolutely beautiful location, remote without being incredibly isolated. Great spot for access to hiking, biking, or just laying low. It had everything you need with a general store nearby, a kitchen and fridge, good shower, etc."
