"We could not have had a better place to stay in Heidelberg. The location was right by a bus stop, the funicular to the castle, and just down the street to enter the Market Square. We felt like we had walked into a fairy tale. The space was comfortable, had everything we would expect and more. The host replied immediately to any questions. Everything was very clean. We would definitely recommend this space or return if we are ever in the area. There was no need for a car as everything is within walking distance including a bakery that opens at 8am and a grocery store for reasonably priced items."

"Easy parking downstairs, in the old town , funicular is in the same building. The staff is great, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable . Excellent breakfast, we had it on the terrace with a beautiful view of the castle "

"A beautiful place in the woods overlooking Heidelberg. The room was recently redone. The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. The view is breathtaking. Parking in front for just 9 Euros. Now, you’d better have a car to be back and forth between the hotel and town. The funicular / tram works till 7 pm. "

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice social area (with free refreshments) where you can meet other travellers. "Loved the place. Very attentive owner. Bed was supper comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Location was great, right in front of church and short distance to bridge that takes you the philosophers walk. Breakfast was amazing. "
