"This motel was conveniently located just across the highway from the north entrance of Itasca State Park. The room was spacious, clean, and adorably decorated. The owner was friendly and kind. My 12 year old son and I had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend staying here!"

"We were lucky to find Big Timbers for our Itasca State Park weekend. The location is ideal being right across the street from the North entrance. The rooms perfect size for a small family or couple. Everything was new and clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the ice cream and pizza from the store on site. "

"My wife and I (and our 16-year old dog) came. My wife and I wanted to see the headwaters of the Mississippi. Our dog, blind and deaf, just wanted to be with us. It is a great location, and we really enjoyed the flock of wild turkeys that visited. This was the last trip our dog took with us (we had to put him to sleep shortly after we returned home). I think of Big Timbers with fondness as the last really good memory of our time with the dog."
