"Great property! While there are other cabins on the property they are far enough away from each other so you have total privacy. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and just enjoying the surroundings. Beautifully decorated! Comfortable bed! Fan in bedroom a very nice and welcomed surprise!! Have already booked a second trip!"

"Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool."

"We booked entire property for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect. 12 of us in our group including 6 kids (ranging from 5-16 yo) , 6 adults and 4 dogs. We had plenty of space. The cabins are absolutely adorable, clean and well outfitted with everything you need for a stress-free getaway. We enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming in pond and also took advantage of Lake Of Egypt being 1/2 mile away and rented a boat for the day. It was truly the perfect vacation; the kids loved it, the adults...

"Perfect but beware if you are a sensitive sleeper as the mattress on the queen bed is saggy and in need of replacing. Probably fine for 1 person but 2 people easily roll into the middle making for a not-so-good night's sleep."

"The tiny cabin had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay in the Lake of Egypt area. Not far from the property is the Cross Eyed Bear for good food and drinks, but with a great kitchen set up with a grill, you might not need to or want to go out to eat. Beautiful hiking is about a 15 min drive away, and you’re also about 20-30 minutes from picturesque wineries. Loved our stay, and we will have to be back!"

"If you are looking for a beautiful cabin that is tucked away from the center of town but a quick drive to the action, look no further! I stayed here with my mom, aunt, and my 1.5 year old daughter and we had the best time! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The cabin is well-equipped so you have everything you need to relax and unwind. There is also an adorable farm next to the property. We would absolutely return here!"
