"We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc."

"We loved this home. It was clean, had all the amenities and located close to the centre of town. The pool and courtyard was exceptional. We spent all our spare time there. We did find the beds a little uncomfortable, but not bad enough to reduce our 5 star rating. We would definitely stay here again."

"We like our holidays to be peaceful. This place is perfect. The only sounds are the birds and the run of the pool's waterfall. The facilities are excellent, lacking nothing. Truly this is the best self-catering property we have ever stayed in. The icing on the cake? The staff were unobtrusive and helpful. We plan to return. Thank you so much to all the team."

"We had a 3 night break to relax and enjoy the local area with our dog and this was the perfect place to stay. The location is great - it´s on a quiet local street and is just a walk away from the historic castle and any of the wonderful restaurants and small supermarkets in the town. "Perfect. Large unit with great outdoor space. Our rental car broke down shortly before we were to check in, we were stranded about 9 km from the Vrbo. The host was gracious enough to come and retrieve us and get us settled into the unit. We reserved the home for 2 nights, we wished we had reserved it for a longer stay. If you are in the area, this place is great."

"We loved the laid back, slow pace of Monsaraz. The room was well equipt with everything we needed and so unique. Breakfast service was delicious and wandering around the castle, drinking a coffee overlooking the surrounding area was a special treat."
