"Overall the Urban Saddle Ranch was an interesting and cozy place to stay in the woods! Accommodating and friendly with all necessities met. That being said, the main issues came with being in the woods! First issue was the HUMONGOUS spider in the bathroom!! Leg span was 3 inches easily and while it was probably a wolf spider, it looked almost like a small tarantula!! "We have been coming to Lake Raystown for 20+ years to boat, camp, hike, and bike. This was our first stay at the Whippoorwill Retreat. It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the screened porch, the fire pit area and all the amenities included. We agreed to return again for sure!"
