Called the lavender farm by my Mum and the winery by my Dad, Karoomba is about an hour and a half drive from Brisbane. The scenery is spectacular whatever the weather and the restaurant is fantastic. I try to get there every trip home, as the menu changes with the season, though the lavender ice-cream is always on the menu!

"Friendly, helpful hosts and relaxing stay."

"House was great, location and four-legged friends were delightful! Hosts were lovely, but we had to rely on face-to-face contact as there’s no wifi or phone reception in the area, which would have been great to know ahead of time! On arrival we were short on a few essentials like hand soaps, body wash and extra toilet paper, but overall our stay was excellent! Thanks Nara!"
