We stayed in one of the Garden rooms which was perfect in every way with thoughtful details, such as a torch to walk back with after dinner, and fresh milk in our fridge for tea/coffee. What really impressed was the service we received from the staff. Even though the bar and restaurant were busy, the manager and his brilliant young team looked after us so well . We will definitely return! "

"I booked a room as I was attending a dinner dance evening in the ballroom. Everything from the evening meal through to the breakfast was superb. The food was delicious and piping hot, the cocktails were delightful and breakfast was excellent. The staff were all so friendly, extremely polite and welcoming. It was a pleasure staying there. "

"This is a fantastic inn with rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean and very comfortable. Bathroom with lovely easy to use walk in shower, plenty of hot water at anytime. What a treat to have a freshly cooked breakfast all 4 mornings. I stayed over the Easter weekend visiting friends in the village - although the pub was very busy with diners, the staff always had time to say hello and ask if everything was ok with my stay - excellent bar and a very good Melbec by the glass! "A gathering of family members of all age ranges and various needs but the size of the property and the bedroom configuration worked for us and there was so much space both inside and out. The owner was very welcoming and kept us informed of events in the area. The kids loved having so much outdoor space and loved the Easter egg hunt and Sports Day that we were able to do. The weather was fantastic allowing us to have lots of BBQ's. So many special memories made. Thank you Lucy and Stephen and family for having us"
