"The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all basic amenities from kitchenware to toiletries. It has a very cabin-y feel and definitely made every one in the group feel at home. We didn't feel very safe at night in the area, outside the apartment though. Apartment itself does feel secure and we didn't actually witness anything shady happen. But if you're travelling with family, I'd recommend staying alert."

"Overall had a nice stay at this apartment. Here are a few inaccuracies, though, that made a difference for my family: the listing says first floor but this is on the 3rd floor, there was no coffee maker, and there was no twin futon (only two loveseat couches). Also, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 3 nights. Otherwise the apartment was clean and spacious and had most other amenities you would need! Neighborhood was great and there was lots of parking available."

"Cute apartment in the journal square area. Close to path about a 5 min walk. Took the path to get into Hoboken and downtown jersey city. Parking definitely a challenge-we parked our car in the Journal square parking garage $60 for 2 nights. That was about a 5 min walk as well. The apartment is a great little place. Pictures of apartment are very accurate. Perfect for what we were looking for. Roof top is amazing-the view of NYC skyline was seriously beautiful. We sat up there for drinks both...

The VRBO was clean and super spacious, there was a really nice green space behind the property for hanging out and the location couldn’t be more perfect for what we needed. "We came for a long weekend to the area and had a great stay at this beautiful unit! We had an event in Hoboken and in Manhattan and they were a short 15 minute ride. There were many lovely features and lots of amenities. We were a family of five with a teenage daughter, and she especially enjoyed the expansive full finished basement with essentially her own bedroom, living room, playroom and suite :-) and the rest of us were very comfortable on the main level. "The first night I stayed, the bathtub was already clogging up. There was a lot of dust in plain sight. The time for checkout was 11am but we got a message from the owner at 9am saying the password would expire at 10am, when clearly in the booking check out was 11am. All this was very inconvenient. "

"The house was pretty ill-equipped. The air mattress being the biggest problem. It deflated after the first night and was too flat for 2 people so one of us had to sleep on the couch. We were not aware of the bed situation until after booking and were desperate for a place. Bare minimum blankets and pillows. While amenities aren’t required, they are pretty standard and this place was lacking; Coffee machine would have been nice. Location was sketchy but not the owners fault, just an fyi."
