"We booked this property on a mission to go to Emerald Hollow Mine. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone kept saying it was one of the best stocked rentals we've been to. Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!"

"such a great stay! It was a short stay for my daughters dance competition. loved having space for our 3 young children and being able to cook our meals and even do our laundry. Definitely beat staying in a hotel and having to eat out for every meal, and going home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. Very clean and the pull out couch was actually REALLY comfortable"

"My daughter and I had a perfect stay while in town for her dance competition. Everything we could have needed was provided, so we only had to shop for groceries. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The beds are comfortable and the decor is welcoming. Every detail is perfect. It felt like both home and vacation. If ever in the area again, this is the first place we will check for availability."

The porches were great for sunning and for meals. The main road can get loud at times, but we were on the river rafting or at a park or on a trail all of the time we were not at the house. "We came up to celebrate a wedding, it got complicated and had to be changed to a day earlier due to the bride's medical emergency, the wedding occurred at the hospital and the emotions were constantly changing, everyone is healthy now and with this place it was nice to relax after such a stressful event. We saw many deer on the rides back to the property usually at dusk. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to escape reality!"
