The freight trains that go through the area regularly do make some noise but it kind of ramps up slowly from a distance and then is gone quickly. It did wake me up a few times but it wasn't jarring and we adjusted to it pretty quickly; just part of the landscape in Huron. It didn't particularly detract from the experience.
