"Lovely villa, had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, clean and well equipt. Great location for the old town. We were however disappointed that the upper level kitchen couldnt be used as we had a family with a baby and it would have been better if they could have utilised it instead of having to go to the lower level for milk snacks ect. The loungers round the pool also need replacing as they were very uncomfotable. These issues however did not impead on our stay and we would return."

"We had a short stay at this villa in June 2023. Overall, we really enjoyed our time because we just wanted to "zone out" by the pool ... which we did every day. Overall, the villa was good. The pool was very good. We have down graded our rating for 4 reasons: 1. There is no air conditioning or fans. On hot evenings like we had, the bedroom area is very hot and we struggled to sleep 2. "We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Very quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated and the kitchen has the tools you need for cooking. We called the decor "grandma's" house. It worked well just a little worn and outdated."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa das Andorinhas, the house is delightful, loved the decor throughout and it had everything we needed. Felt like we were locals! It is also in a great location, near to the marina, old town and the beautiful beaches. You can walk to all of the amenities. We didn’t have a car but caught the bus to Porto de Mos and Sagres which were both really nice days out. The train station is also very near and we got the train back to Faro for our flight. "Due to check in instructions via vrbo,myself and friends were taken to wrong adress of property.this was very quickly rectified with a call from owners.The owners are very pleasant people who go out there way to make your stay as wonderful as possible!NOTE:check in was vrbo error. The property is beautifully modern and very spacious! You can see they take pride in their property. Location is good as 10 mins uber to albufeira. We had an amazing time and felt at home and didn't want to go home!"

"Great host, very accommodating. Although rustic the accommodation was really well equipped. Enjoyed the games room and the lakeside beach. We didn’t get time to use the kayaks, but they were available to use. Enjoyed the boulle’s and amazing views and it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. It is reached by a long and bumpy road, it’s well worth it to relax."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The property is old and could use some updating, but it was clean and well cared for. The staff was accommodating - they even brought us complimentary champagne after noticing during check in that it was my husbands birthday. The onsite parking is free and convenient if you have a car. The surrounding area is quiet, and only a short walk to downtown Albufeira. The extra money for the beach front room was well worth it. We had the best view from our balcony and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. "
