"Comfortable and welcoming home. Our second stay at this property and will be back. Easy walk to beach, ocean pool, cafe and bowls club."

"This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. The sofa was sagging and lumpy, the mattresses were...

"Very happy with accommodation and location."

"Location was good, being walking distance to One Mile Beach and the sand dunes. There were also a couple of coffee shops within walking distance. The accommodation was not very clean. There was a smell of dog, sticky carpet, stains and lots of dust behind the mattresses and in the toilet area. Price was reasonable but even for an older furnished house the cleanliness issue was not expected."

"Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!"

"Such a beautiful location. We didn't have to go anywhere. Beach right in front and the house had everything. Was quite surprised by the full kitchen pantry. Also, loaded with books, games and toys. Kids absolutely loved it. They didn't want to leave! Wished we had a few more days. Time passed by too quickly."

"A lovely home that felt immediately relaxed. We enjoyed the set-up, mood and ease of the home. The back deck with its screened walls was a real treat and became the place we spent all our time in. Two bathrooms was very handy and the beds were extremely comfortable. I'll definitely book again given the opportunity."

"We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks...

"The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!"

"Location is perfect being so close to the beach and bush walks. We were delighted with how spacious and light the house was as well as being well heated in late July. It was fitted out immaculately except for the lack of a dryer. Planning on rebooking again for next year."

"Upon arrival we were greeted with an inviting bungalow, an amazing breakfast hamper, the table already set, a bottle of Port and a friendly welcome message from our hosts. We immediately felt at home. We went on to explore the waterfall, took in the beautiful surroundings and made good use of the game room with a few games of pool and darts before lighting the fire to cosy up for the night. Loved every second of it and we'll definitely be back."
