"The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...

A wonderful location (there's TONS to do in the area and the hosts provide you with so much information to pick and choose from), a peaceful setting and wonderful accommodations. The pool is wonderful and has a grill and dining area next to it. A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts. I could see us going back here in a heartbeat!"

"The house is directly in the nature. It is in a valley, so you should have some driving skills, since the driveway is pretty steep. Around the house you will find your "garden". It is really big, so you will need about half an hour to walk around everything. There even is a little creek, so you can cool your feet. At the property there live a small cute and cosy cat, sheep and 2 big dogs (they are very nice and happy to have visitors). It is calming to have the dogs around, since in the night...
