Dirty, dated
We appreciated the access to Netflix & spent much of our time outside or in the remodeled downstairs. We were disappointed the house was as dirty as it was. We found moldy food in the microwave, dirt/hair on the bathroom floor, counters that had dried food on them, stained towels, and the hand soap in all the bathrooms was down to about a millimeter in each bottle. There's also a drain tube running through the middle of the basement, which is a trip hazard.
Before settling in, we had to buy sanitizing wipes & clean. There is also no ice or ice trays. We had to do a load of towels to feel comfortable using them for showering, handwashing and cooking. Also, the microwave circular tray wobbles severely while in use, making it nearly unusable.
I've never had to give a poor review on a VRBO, but if you're like us and appreciate a clean home, this place needs a new cleaning plan before you should go. If you don't mind this, it's a nice, quiet area.
