"Overall experience was great. Staff was friendly, professional and all around great. Lots of outdoor areas to hangout and spend time outside. Pool area was nice. Minibar was stocked with good options and the prices are not bad comparing to other hotels I've stayed. It was almost cheaper to drink from the minibar vs. The actual hotel bar. Pool area was nice but maybe in the busy season it could get growded. Each room has Echo device with Alexa, so you can play music or get other information easily. The room i stayed was clean and good but some things were little outdated and rundown, some USB charging ports by the bed was not working, the thermostat screen and buttons were damaged but i was still able to turn down the temperature, i just couldn't see the actual temperature reading. But because the staff was so great and my stay was great, these things did not bother me. TV channels are all in italian, or at least the 100+ channels i scrolled thru, so if you like watching TV during your stay and don't understand the language, i recommend to bring your own movies or tv shows. "This is a gorgeous resort hotel that has excellent service, beautiful location. The pool is next level gorgeous next to sea. Good dining. Excellent staff and concierge can book day trips. Just note that beach access is too rocky to swim. There are many stairs all around so hotel is not accessible. Also not much near by. Highly recommend. Very romantic destination. Great honeymoon location. Very happy with our stay. Thank you! "

"This was our second time staying at Locanda Gulfi and we enjoyed our visit thoroughly. We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. The pool is gorgeous and the staff are warm and courteous. Highly recommend during a month when you are able to enjoy the pool!"

"The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. She is a 5 star host and had some nice snacks and beverages available for us when we arrived. However, the room itself had mold on the shower door and some type of allergen in the bed sheets as my wife got sick after the one night stay. I would stay there again but the place could use better cleaning."

"We had a lovely stay at Riccardo’s place. The house was really clean and had everything we needed. The outside seating area was great and the nearby beach was really lovely. You do need a car if staying here as the nearest shops are a short drive away. We had great visits to Siracusa and Etna and we all also enjoyed visiting the Etnaland theme park and water park. Would recommend this accommodation for visiting this area. "
